Russell Warden

Ronald “Russell” Warden, 45 year-old, former Seminole resident passed from this life Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born January 24, 1965 in Talihina, Oklahoma to parents Carl Warden and Jeanette (Joseph) Factor. Russell graduated from Sequoyah High School and had worked as a general laborer until be became ill with cancer.  Russell was also a proud member of the Seminole Nation. Survivors include his father, Carl Warden of Seminole, Oklahoma; former wife, Angela Johnston of Wichita, Kansas; one son, Jacobi Warden of Wichita, Kansas; three daughters, Verna Warden and Chelsea Warden of Clinton, Oklahoma and Jacie Warden of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Donald Ray Factor of Enid, Oklahoma; one sister, Stacy Bequer of Tampa, Florida; and a host of other family and dear friends. Russell is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Factor; and by three brothers, Ricky, Mike and Gary Warden. A wake service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 at Sand Creek Eufaula Church (Located West of Justice School on NS 365 Road & EW 1310 Road).  Rev. Houston Tiger will officiate the service.  Interment will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
