Russell Lowell Patterson

Russell Lowell Patterson, Jr., age sixty-six and a former resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away from this life Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Grace Living Center in Oklahoma City. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Little Chapel, and viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25th at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Ron Smith will officiate. Russell was born July 22, 1949 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Russell Lowell Patterson, Sr. and Julia Pauline (Gurley) Patterson.  He graduated from Seminole High School and served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1973.  He was an auto and diesel mechanic. Russell is survived by his mother, Pauline Patterson of Seminole; one son, Bucky Patterson and wife, Melyssa of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Melissa Cervone and husband Jon of Seminole; one sister, Linda Clifton and husband, Johnny of Seminole; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Lowell Patterson, Sr. and one grandchild, Julia. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
