Rudolph Heard

Longtime Seminole resident Rudolph "Doc" Heard passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at his home. He was born on February 7, 1931 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Tillman and Elsie Mae (Cooley) Heard. rnrnHe served in the United State Army and was a roustabout in the oilfield. rnrnHe is survived by his son, Terry Heard of Wewoka, Oklahoma and one daughter, Sherry Dougan of Konawa, Oklahoma, two brothers; JT Heard of Wolf, Oklahoma and Ivan Heard of Del City, Oklahoma two sisters; Mae Mullins of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Polly Hill of Pickett, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Lone Dove Cemetery South West of Wewoka, Oklahoma with Mike McCauley officiating.
