Ruby Stailey

Ruby Lee Stailey, 92 Ruby Lee Stailey, long time resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Monday May 9, 2016 at the age of 92 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Ruby was born July 14, 1923 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents William Daniel “Willie” Parsons and Laura (Hopkins) Parsons. Ruby married Carl “Buster” Stailey, Jr. on April 17, 1946 in Ochiltree County, Texas he passed away in 2012. She was a homemaker and affiliated with 1st Assembly of God Church. Ruby had a favorite saying, “Love you a bushel and a peck with a big hug around the neck.” Ruby is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Laura Parsons; husband, Carl “Buster” Stailey, Jr.; two brothers, Russell Parsons and Tommy Parsons; two sisters, Helen Markkula and Jackie Good. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole, Oklahoma with Rick Goodin officiating. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole county, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Bryan Rawls, Cole Parsons, Don Dorn, Kelly Dorn, Stephen Rawls, Tim Clock and Tracy Bryant. Honorary casket bearers will be Terry Bryant, Tim Parsons and Rick Nichols. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
