Ruby Robertson

Ruby Lee (Martin) Robertson, 81 year-old, lifelong Seminole resident passed from this life Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Integris Seminole Medical Center.  She was born August 2, 1931 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Ezra Lee Martin and Ida Belle (Stuart) Martin. Ruby married Roland Robertson on July 12, 1948 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Ruby was a member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 64 years, Roland Robertson of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris Ann “D’Ann” and Mark Harris of Edmond, Oklahoma, Shirley and Guy McDaniel of Edmond, Oklahoma; one sister, Pauline Wilcox of Seminole, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Shelly Pogue, Tammy Sellers and Brent Gentry; five great-grandchildren, Rylee Pogue, Montana Sellers, Mason Sellers, Payton Gentry and Myles Gentry; as well as a host of other family and dear friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and by one sister, Lorene Dillon. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. Casket Bearers will be: Jeremy Sellers, Cris Pogue, Buster Wilcox, Mark Harris, Brent Gentry and Guy McDaniel. Honorary Bearers will be: Earl Robertson, Jimmy Don Wilcox, James Robertson, Terry Dillon, Ricky Allen and Jackie Meeks.
