Ruby Lynn (Williams) McClanahan

Ruby Lynn (Williams) McClanahan, 36 year old Tecumseh, Oklahoma resident and former Seminole resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 31, 2016 surrounded by family and friends following a battle with cancer.  She was born November 27, 1979 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Marie Francis (Keck) Williams and Harold Rudolph “Rudy” Williams. Ruby graduated from McLoud High School in 1997.  She worked as a CNA and a Homecare provider. On October 15, 2012 Ruby married Brent E. McClanahan in Lexington, Oklahoma. Ruby was a member of the Church of God in Maud, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, Brent McClanahan of the home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma; her mother, Marie Williams of Cayce, South Carolina; 3 sons, Gage Bickel of Cayce, South Carolina, Tyler E. Watson of Oklahoma, Landon Ford Eugene McClanahan of the home; 2 daughters, Macie Renee McClanahan of the home and Kyndrea Belle McClanahan of the home; 4 brothers, James “Jimmy” Williams of Bryant, Alabama, Rudy Williams Jr of Oklahoma, George Williams of Harrah, Oklahoma, Glenn Williams of Oklahoma; 4 sisters, Joann (Williams) Smothers of Cayce, South Carolina, Eva Williams of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Carolyn Williams of San Fidel, New Mexico, Carrie Williams of Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her father Rudy Williams in 2001 and by one brother, Richard Williams. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 and from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Church of God located at 600 W. Main Street in Maud, Oklahoma with Pastor Dan Kasper officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Council Creek Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Brent McClanahan, Gage Bickel, Jimmy Williams, Little Jimmy Williams, Jeremy Bullock, and Blaze Blankenship. Honorary Bearers will be: Jessie Williams, Josh Williams, and Tracey Travis. The family request that donations be sent to the Church of God at P.O.
