Ruby Lee Laxton

Ruby Lee (Brewer) Laxton, age 70 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21st at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Roy Robertson, Pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs will officiate. Ruby was a high school graduate and affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs. She married Homer Laxton in 1974. Ruby was preceded in death by her dad, Mike Brewer and mother, Ruth Perry; her husband, Homer "D.L." Laxton; one brother, and a daughter. Ruby is survived by the family that loved and cared for her for the past eleven years. They include her sister-in-law, Linda Laxton of Seminole; one niece, Stacy Glenn and her husband, Kevin; great nephews and great niece, Austin Laxton and Bailey, Blake, and Kolbi Glenn, all of Seminole, who fondly referred to her as "The Rube".
