Lifelong Seminole county resident Roy Monroe Hines, passed away on Sunday May 24, 2009 at home at the age of 66. rnrnHe was born on September 8, 1942 in Seminole to James Leslie and Stella Mae (Standerfer) Hines. He worked in the oilfield as a tool pusher until his retirement. rnrnHe loved to fish and play dominoes with his friends. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed being at the lake.rnrnHe married Maxine Hines in February of 1963 and she preceded him in death on September 14, 2002. rnrnHe is survived by four daughters; Cecilia Ann Hines of Seminole, Paula Denise Lester of McAlester, Sonya Ranae Coffman of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lesley Michelle Hines of Seminole, brother, Robert Ellery Hines of Texas, sister, Virginia Patrick of Seminole, two sisters-in-law; Carol Hines of Seminole and Hilda Hines of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends. rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, James and Stella Hines, wife, Maxine Hines, and three brothers; James, Clarence and Earl Hines. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 10:00am, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Charles Lester and James Williams officiating. rn Funeral Information: May 27, 2009, 10:00 AM
