Roy Marland Crawford, 68 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born January 11, 1939 in Seymor, Texas to parents Ray Eugene Crawford and Nora Elizabeth (Russell) Crawford.rnrnRoy married Cathy Ann Smith on July 10, 1973 in Seymor, Texas where he worked as a drilling operator in the oilfield. Together they moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1976 where he later worked as a welder for Independent Tank Company in Seminole, Oklahoma for the past 13 years. Roy is a member of The Lord?s Community Church in Seminole.rnrnSurvivors include his wife Cathy A. Crawford of the home. One son, Christopher Crawford. Five daughters and sons-in-law; Royal & Rick Morphis; Rowena Crawford and companion Dennis Robertson; LaNora & Andrew Buswell; Elizabeth Crawford and Racketa Crawford all of Seminole, Oklahoma. Two sisters Barbara Haynes of Seymor, Texas and Thena Richardson of Bridge Port, Texas. Also surviving are three grandchildren Roxanne Nunnelley, Helaena Nunnelley and Raidyn Morphis.rnrnRoy is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Theda Myers; one grandson, Ethan Crawford and by one brother, William Andrew Crawford.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2007 at The Lord?s Community Church located at the corner of 5th and Seminole streets in Seminole, Oklahoma. Jimmy and Anita Morland will officiate the service with Jeff Smith assisting. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole.rnrnCasket bearers will be; Lash Blankenship, Jon Keith, Phil Norton, Edward Dodson, Micha Smith and Roy L.
