Roxie Haynes Roxie Shirlene Haynes, 74, entered this world on September 24, 1936 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles Homer Miller and Susie Mae Powell. She peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2011 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a loving, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She touched many lives with her love and compassions for each person she met. Roxie married Elmer Haynes on November 16, 1956 in Seminole, Oklahoma; they spent 54 loving years together. Roxie leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Elmer Haynes of Prague, Oklahoma, two sons and a daughter-in-law; Delbert and Vickie Haynes of Muskogee, Oklahoma, James “Chabbit” Haynes of Prague, four daughters and sons-in-law; Delberta Vallejo and Andrew of Shoreline, Washington, Andrea Haynes of Shawnee, Karen Collier of Shawnee and Catherine “Cat” Clemons and Justin of Meeker, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law; Carol Haynes, nine grandchildren; Danita Vallejo, April Bullard, Verina Collier, Denise Vallejo, Nathan Henry, Leanne Simpson, A-yo Henry, Mes-ke Collier, Maylee Dawn Clemons, six great grandchildren, Nayana Scott, Harlee Bullard, Imani Scott, Ethan “Bon” Simpson, Kynlee Bullard and Roxie Mae Simpson. two brothers, Reo Starr Miller of Seminole and Dewayne Miller of Seminole, six sisters, Joanne Factor and Angeline “Kitty” Fawcett of Prague, Oklahoma, Esther Fourkiller of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Arlis Banagos of California, Pinky Cole of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Ray Miller, two sisters, Virginia Miller and Jeanette Postoak and beloved son, Curtis Dean Haynes. Wake services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Seminole with Randall Miller and George Harjochee officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, Little, Oklahoma.
