Rosser Scott II

Rosser “Rossi” Paul Scott II, 56, longtime Seminole resident, passed from this life, on  Friday, November 4, 2016 in Seminole. Rossi was born July 17, 1960 in Riverside, California to Rosser Paul Scott and Juanita (Tiger) Scott. Rossi was a co-owner of Billy Boy Bar-B-Q, and Paul’s Place in Shawnee, Oklahoma and S & L Diner in Seminole, Oklahoma. He attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1979. He was a member and former elder of the Cheyarha Presbyterian Church east of Seminole. Rossi was a quiet man, wise man who did not speak often, but when he spoke people would listen. He loved his family and spending time with each of them, especially his children and grandchildren, who were his world. Rossi loved Jesus and reading his bible. He loved guns, hunting, fishing and reading in general, especially history. He is survived by his wife Donna (Hastings) Scott of Seminole, Oklahoma, his mother Juanita Scott of Seminole, Oklahoma, three sons; Rosser Matthew Scott and his wife Megan of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Darcy Paul Scott and his wife Amber of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Zachary Michael Scott and his wife Maressa of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his daughter Jillian Caitlin Scott of Seminole, Oklahoma, his brothers Dana Scott and his wife Angela and John Bailey Scott and his wife Debbie all of Shawnee, Oklahoma and his sister Dovie Scott May and her husband Rodney of Shawnee, Oklahoma, sisters-in-law, Sonia Scott and Lisa Hastings both of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandchildren; Haylie Scott, Emma Scott, Rosser “ Jackson” Scott, Rylee Scott, Madison Scott, Kinsley Scott and Easton Scott all of Shawnee, Oklahoma, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Rosser Paul Scott and his brother Tom Scott. Funeral services will be, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Cheyarha Presbyterian Church, east of Seminole on Highway # 9 with Curt Gruel and Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Sally Marcy Tiger Family Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Rosser "Matthew" Scott, Darcy Paul Scott, Zachary Michael Scott, Dana Scott, Rodney May and John Bailey Scott. Honorary bearers will be Colby Scott, Sam Sasser, John Garcia, Steve Sasser, Bill Tiger, Clark Whitehead and Ted Tiger. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
