Rosie Inez Looney, 75, longtime Seminole resident died January 5, 2012 in Alva, Oklahoma. She was born March 21, 1936 in Saddle, Arkansas to Edward E. and Rosie Lucinda (Price) Williams. Rosie attended schools in Perry, Oklahoma and has lived in Seminole since 1981. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God. She is survived by one daughter Carlene Thompson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three sons, Mike Selvey of San Angelo, Texas, Jeff Selvey of Waynoka, Oklahoma and Richard Selvey of Alva, Oklahoma; one brother L.E. Williams of Freedom, Indiana and a sister Donna Kay Whisenhunt of Seminole, Oklahoma. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive her. Her husband Richard Looney in 1999 and her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with burial in Little Cemetery. Her grandsons will be casket bearers.
