At the age of 95, Roscoe Walker Grubbs Jr. passed from this earth on January 13, 2020 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He came into this world on August 11, 1924 in Paris, Texas, to Roscoe Walker Grubbs Sr. and Violet “Polly” Pecola West Grubbs. He was a sergeant in the 112th Army Air Communication System Squadron during WWII. He married his beautiful wife and soulmate, Marjorie Taylor on January 23, 1948. Roscoe is survived by his wife Marjorie of the home, his children; Robert Walker Grubbs and wife Sharon of Haltom City, Texas; Hazel Ruth Grubbs Langley and husband Jack of Glen Rose, Texas; Jeanne Anne Grubbs Wolf and husband Curtis of Seminole, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was a hunter and fisherman. He loved to travel, especially to Vegas. He always had a smile for everyone. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Roscoe and Polly Grubbs, his sweet sister Patsy and his beloved daughter Kathryn Lou Grubbs Ayers. He will truly be missed by all of us that he left behind. Memorial services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole, Oklahoma with Robert Foos officiating.
