Rosa Lee Marzett

Rosa Lee (Wright) Marzett, 83 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Integris Seminole Medical Center.  She was born January 22, 1931 in IXL, Oklahoma to parents Lee Wright and Rosa (Bryant) Wright. Rosa married Henry F. Marzett on July 2, 1949 in Okemah, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death in December of 1979. Rosa was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Seminole. Rosa leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Henry Marzett, Jr. of Kansas, Albert L. Marzett of Seminole, Oklahoma; three daughters, Carolyn Edwards of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Yvonne Shannon of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Verdelmer Carolina of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sisters, Veotha Williams of Spring Hill, Kansas, Izola Hart of Kansas City, Kansas; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of other family and dear friends. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by one daughter, Beverly Joann Burris and by one grandson, Payne Shannon. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bobby Curry officiating the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
