Ronald Gene Smith, 60, Longtime Seminole resident, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. rnrnRonald was born January 26, 1948 in Prague, Oklahoma to parents, Ben and Helen (Rogers) Smith. He grew up in the Butner area where he attended schools and graduated. rnrnRonald met and married Judy Hart July 19, 1980., they were married at the Westside Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnRonald work for 14 years at the Central State Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma as a psychiatry Tech. He later became employed at the City of Seminole Water Department as a water well technician. He was retired at the time of his death. Ronald attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church of God in Seminole.rnrnRonald was survived by his wife Judy Faye Smith of Seminole, Oklahoma. Daughter Regina Turner of Seminole. His brother Darryl Smith of Seminole and Sister Carol Keesee of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Grandchilden Scott, Chad, Donovon, Talia, Christopher and Several Nieces and Nephews.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Don Smith and daughter Michelle "Shelly" Lapach.rnrnFuneral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. rnrnCasket Bearers will be Steven Keesee, David Soliday, Mike Hart, Billy Hart, Wendell Smith, Dalwayne Smith.
