Ronald Glen Sipes, Sr.

Ronald Glen Sipes Sr. passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 69. 

He was born March 4, 1955, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Billy Roger and Lela Loeva (Williamson) Sipes. 

Ronald married Deborah (Debbie) Lynn (Dockery) Sipes in Wewoka on April 28, 1973. Ronald was devoted to his family. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and riding his motorcycle. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Deborah; one son, Ronald Sipes Jr. and his wife Amy, of Tecumseh; two daughters, Robin Sipes, of Shawnee, and Dina Emmons and her husband Justin of Tecumseh; four grandsons, Ethan Jones, Casey Moon, Krew Moon, and Abraham Emmons; four granddaughters, Alexis Sipes, Camdyn Sipes, Lillian Sipes, and Tillie Emmons; one sister, Carolyn Ramsey and her husband Warren of Wagoner; and extended family and friends. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Roger and Lela Loeva Sipes; two brothers, Billy Don Sipes and Bobby Dean Sipes; a nephew, Donny Sipes; and a niece, Shelly Robertson. 

A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, with Pastor Dan Factor officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
