Ron Sachse

Ronald Sachse, 55, died on October 5, 2010 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Ron moved as a young boy with his family to Seminole 48 years ago. He graduated from Varnum High School in 1973 and later from Seminole State College in 1998. Ron is survived by his identical twin brother, Donald Sachse, of Seminole; his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Stephen Barrett of Bastrop, TX; niece, Carrie Shephard and husband David Shephard of Manvel, TX; nephew, Dave Barrett of Austin, TX; and niece, Erin Barrett and husband Brian Christian  and their children, Adam & Regan Christian of Round Rock, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Gillit Sachse and father, Claude Sachse. Ron had an outgoing personality and an earnest concern for others. An avid supporter of Seminole State College and Seminole High School sports teams, he was proud to be named as Seminole Chieftains #1 Fan. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Little where funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole adjacent to the church. Rusty Dawson, minister of the Church of Christ at Little will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be J.P. (Doc) Duvall, Larry Vickers, Howard Byerly, Fred Morrison, Mike Snyder, and Mac Hanan. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bruss Horn. Ron will be greatly missed by family, friends, fellow church members, and Seminole sports fans. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, 1001 N.
