Rodney Longest

Rodney Longest, 56, former Seminole resident died Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Rodney was born in Santa Maria, California on October 31, 1952 to John and Shirlen (Knight) Longest.   Rodney grew up in Santa Maria, California and attended schools there, Later moving to Oklahoma. Rodney loved hunting and fishing and his family. He had worked in the Oild Industry and Construction Industry.   Two daughters survive Rodney: Janessa Longest Edmond, Oklahoma and Kacie Longest of Hobart, Oklahoma and one son, Jaylan Longest of Edmond, Oklahoma. Starla Longest the Mother of his children of Edmond, Oklahoma also survives him. One brother Terry Longest of Seminole, Oklahoma and a sister Wanda Conner of Seminole, Oklahoma also survive him, and by two grandsons Caben Longest and Graycen Bointy.   Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little Cemetery.
