Seminole resident Rockney Keith Fennell passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Norman.
Rocky or Rock, the son of John and Bonnie (Fisher) Fennell, was born July 17, 1953, in Seminole. He graduated from Bowlegs High School with the class of 1971. Rocky retired from Exxon Mobil in Shawnee, after over 30 years of service. Rocky was a fan of sports; he particularly enjoyed golf and OU football. Rocky did not have children of his own, but he loved and was a part of his nieces’ and nephew’s lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rock is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Priscilla Fennell of Norman; his sister and brother-in-law, Ginger and Tim Stottlemyre of Edmond; nieces Kymber Fennell-Lewis and her husband, Chris, and Rianna Stottlemyre; nephew, Aidan Stottlemyre; a great nephew, Cooper Lewis; his special friend, Debra Banker; and many other family and friends.
There will be a graveside service, Monday, June 20, at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, with Carl Whitfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Service in Seminole.
