Roberta Lou Coble, lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away at her home on September 27, 2021. She was born April 22, 1938, in Seminole to Robert Dickerson and Lena (Dunagan) Dickerson. She graduated from Seminole High School. She married Butch Coble on April 6, 1956, in Seminole.
Roberta worked as a meat wrapper at Butch’s Meat Packing Plant. She was also a homemaker and loved cooking, reading recipe books and trying unusual recipes….some came out good and some did not. She loved to watch television and buy from home shopping shows.
Left to cherish Roberta’s memory are her daughters and sons-in-law; Debbie and Mark Robertson of Maud, Oklahoma and LeaAnn and Doug Presley of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Cory Walker of Seminole, Josh Presley of Stroud, Cord Presley of Perkins and Marcy Carnes of Konawa and great-grandchildren, Kason Presley, Jaxson Presley, Beaux Presley, Nash Presley, Harper Presley and Sam Carnes. Preceding her in death were her parents, Bob and Lena Dickerson, sister, Charlotte Kay, husband, Butch Coble and grandchildren, Ted and Tuff Presley.
Funeral services for Roberta will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with David Long officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.
Casket bearers will be Cory Walker, Josh Presley, Cord Presley, Kason Presley, Rodney Sutterfield and Johnny Starnes. Honorary bearers will be Bob Hobson, Doug Presley and Mark Robertson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
