Robert “ Bob “ Snow, 77, longtime Seminole resident died, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Bob was born December 3, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Kenneth Augustus and Opal (Clark) Snow. Bob came to Seminole in 1990 from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bob was a home builder for the majority of his working life, however he was involved in many other occupations; he foremost was a carpenter, roofer, home builder, construction manager for a mobile home factory, mobile home repo manager, Mobile home sales dealer, welder, truck driver, caretaker for the elderly, car salesman, bar tender at the Elks Lodge a warehouse manager and night security guard, he always said he was a “Jack of all Trades”. Bob was a member of the Glad Tiding Assembly of God in Seminole. He was a retired firefighter after 13 years of service with the Strother Fire Department. He loved to joke with people and tell jokes, he loved to go to Wal-Mart and give the people there a “hard time”, he loved to play golf and build birdhouses and have coffee with the morning “McDonalds Coffee Group”. Bob was also involved in “ Big Brother/Big Sister” and a member of “BACA” He was married to Kathy (Payton) Snow on January 11, 1992 in Seminole and spent 21 wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife Kathy of the home; three sons, Bobby Snow of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Danny Snow of Joplin, Missouri and Karson Stevens of the home in Seminole; five daughters, Debe Hauschild of Edmond, Oklahoma, Sandy Ray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nancy Gilliam of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Laurie Eby of Edmond, Oklahoma and Keona Stevens of the home in Seminole, Oklahoma and stepdaughter Penny Stevens-Jennings. He is also survived by two brothers Ken Snow of San Juan Bautista, California and Ed Snow of Texas and a sister Genny Fellers of Decatur, Illinois. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren; Lauren West Hauschild, Richard Lee Hauschild, III, Lacey Brewer, Kara Johnson, Jacob Bell, Pamela Snow, Krystine Snow, Maddie Snow, Jamie Jo Snow, Michael Snow, Matt Snow Jessica Baker, Brittney McKinney, Chelsea Gilliam, Tyler Gilliam, Coleman Eby, Cailin Eby and Camryn Eby and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Ryanne West Hauschild. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brock Barrett officiating with Rev. Gary Pollard assisting. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dale Smith, Vernon Pickett, Bill Scott, Mark McCown, Calvin Perry, C.E. Richardson and Gary Dutton Honorary bearer will be Steve Pulley.
