Robert Bowden Sisson

Robert Bowden Sisson, Seminole resident, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Seminole at the age of 73.  Robert was born on December 27, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Dale Milton Sisson and Peggy Jean (Davisson) Sisson.  He grew up in Alice, Texas and worked in Dallas most of his life.  He then moved to Seminole with his wife, Pat after they were married.  There they resided in the family home that has been in the  family for four generations.

As a child Robert enjoyed fishing.  Growing up he liked to go to drag races and loved rock-n-roll music. Robert enjoyed collecting guns and discussing politics.  He loved cars and motorcycles  Robert treasured spending time with his loving family and friends.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Heather Sisson of Sand Springs; two brothers, Rusty Sisson of Arkansas and Rick Sisson of Alice, TX; two grandchildren, Andrew Field and Alexandria Jinkens and many other family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Peggy Sisson.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
