Robert Leon Short

Robert Leon Short, 66, former Seminole resident, died March 15, 2017 in Madison, Alabama. Robert was born December 27, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Leon Bobby Short and Patsy (Jennings) Short.  Robert was a welder and pipe-fitter and work for the Department of Energy in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Robert is survived by his parents Leon and Pat Short of Seminole, Oklahoma, his sister Peggy( Short) Hickinbotham  of Madison, Alabama and his brother David Short of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, nephews Jesse and Aaron, nieces Sonny, Rachael, Amy, Abigail and Alyssa, one great nephew and seven great nieces. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
