Robert Franklin Riddle

Robert Franklin Riddle, 66, Muskogee, Oklahoma resident, died Friday, July 1, 2016 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Robert was born on September 30, 1949 in Prague, Oklahoma where he lived for over 40 years, then in Shawnee, Oklahoma and then later to Muskogee, Oklahoma. Robert graduated from Prague High School in 1967. He then attended Oklahoma State University, where he received a Petroleum Engineering Degree, and later Oklahoma University Law School where he received his Law Degree. He practiced law in Shawnee, Oklahoma for a period of time and then went to work for the Department of Veteran Affairs as a claims processor in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Robert was a member of the Church of Christ at Little, while he was living in Prague, Oklahoma; currently he was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Robert married Shelly Denise (Finke) Riddle on August 8, 1997 at Little, Oklahoma. Robert is survived by his loving wife Shelly Riddle of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one daughter Brittany Fleeman of McLoud, Oklahoma, his mother Anna Mae Riddle of Wichita Falls, Texas, his sister, Elizabeth Schroeder of Wichita Falls, Texas, three granddaughters; Shelby, Sadie and Scarlet. Services will be at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Little Church of Christ, with Larry Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma.
