Robert E. Lee (Bob) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma departed this life on March 28, 2020, his wife Lisa was by his side. Bob was born in Urbana, Illinois, on September 30, 1932, to John and Alta Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Wesley Lee. Bob is survived by his wife, Lisa Lee, sons Jerry Lee and wife Rebecca, Gary Lee and wife Toni, Mark Lee and wife Melissa Harris-Lee and daughter, Terri Lee. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Jessica Winscher, Kelsey Lee, Stephanie Jackson, Stacy Ezell, Lindsi Miller, Cate Lucas, Darian Harris-Lee, and Joshua Harris-Lee, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Eastern Illinois University, where he played baseball and basketball all four years. Immediately following college, he served in the U.S. Army for two years, posted in France. Flight instruction in both airplanes and helicopters was Bob's lifelong passion. He accumulated over 15,000 hours training pilots from all over the world. In his free time, he enjoyed flying with his wife in all types of aircraft, including seaplanes and gliders. He also loved the time he spent at the Coates family ranch in Seminole County. It was an adventure for him and the grandchildren as well, who learned to ride horses, drive tractors, and help their grandpa with ranch chores.
