Robert Johnson

Funeral services for Robert "Robbie" Glenn Johnson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma at 12040 Hwy 99 North. Chris Stinnett and John Roberts, Jr. will conduct the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.   Robbie died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma with family and friends by his side following a short battle with cancer. Robbie was born October 12, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Charles "Butch" and Auttis Johnson. He attended Pleasant Grove School, graduating in 1988. He attended Gordon Cooper Technology welding school and Arrow Trucking School. He married Carolyn Blaylock on January 7, 2012 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They made their home in Horntown, Oklahoma and are members of Fairview Cowboy Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma.   Robbie was a truck driver with a love of making metal art with welding. At the time of his death he was employed by Flint Energy moving oil rigs.   Growing up, Robbie loved spending time with his grandpa Gillespie, listening to his stories, going to cattle sales, fishing, boating and time at the lake. He enjoyed restoring old cars, singing karaoke, motorcycle rides with friends and benefit poker runs. Robbie's happiest times were spent with friends and family. He loved being with his grandkids, watching them play sports and showing animals.   Robbie leaves to cherish his memory his wife Carolyn of the home, his parents, Charles "Butch" and Auttis Johnson of Seminole, Oklahoma, son and daughter-in-law Rath and April Pryor, Horntown, Oklahoma, daughter Kendra Blaylock and fiancee' Boone Griffin, Holdenville, Oklahoma, Brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Tina Johnson and Billy and Jayme Johnson of Seminole, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Marty and wife Debbie Nall, Holdenville, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Hailey, Riley and Rohby Pryor of Horntown, Oklahoma and Jaylee Griffin, Holdenville, Oklahoma, mother-in-law Sue Nall, Holdenville, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his uncle Billy Gillespie.   Pallbearers will include: Rath Pryor, Travis Gillespie, Kevin Bane, Larry Bane, Larry Grant, Roger Vorheis and Boone Griffin.
