Robert Lee Ilbery

Robert Lee Ilbery, Jr., 63 year-old, Earlsboro resident passed from this life Friday, March 12, 2010 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born November 26, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to parents Robert Lee Ilbery, Sr. and Dorothy D. (Davis) Ilbery. Robert graduated from Coalgate High School in 1968.  He had been involved in the Boy Scouts of America, 4-H, and the Future Farmers of America. Following graduation Robert went on to attend Oklahoma State Technical School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  He worked as a plumber until 2001. Robert married Evelyn Gail Nunnelley on September 16, 1970 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  He was also of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy D. Ilbery of Coalgate, Oklahoma; his wife, Gail Ilbery of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin Ilbery of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and Kyle Ilbery and his wife Amanda of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Krystal Davis and her husband Daniel of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven Thomas Ilbery and his wife Stella of Coalgate, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Brendon Lee Davis, Austin Robert Ilbery and Lydia Grace Ilbery; as well as a host of other family and dear friends. His father Robert Lee Ilbery, Sr. who died in 2009 precedes Robert in death. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Allen Cemetery in Allen, Oklahoma.
