Robert "Bob" Howes

Robert Gene “Bob” Howes, 44 year-old, Maud resident, passed from this life Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Seminole, Oklahoma.  He was born January 14, 1966 in Richmond, Missouri to parents Lester Eugene “Gene” Howes, Sr. and Mary Ann (Boley) Howes. Howes attended school in Missouri before moving to Maud, Oklahoma five years ago.  He was a carpenter who specialized in roofing. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Joe Groves and his wife Robin of Lexington, Missouri and Lester Eugene Howes, Jr. and his wife Linda of Maud, Oklahoma; one sister and brother-in-law, Grace Starks and her husband Milton Hignite of Illinois; he is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Howes is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ricky Allan Howes. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
