Robert Stanley "Ace" Honsinger, lifelong Konawa area resident, died Sunday, October 1, 2006, at Ada Retirement Center in Ada, at the age of 66 years. He was born on February 5, 1940 in Vanoss, OK. He served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge on January 31, 1965. He worked as a Driller in the area oilfields. He was a member of Vamoosa Baptist Church and was an avid golfer and enjoyed music. He was very proud of his hole-in-one at an Ada area golf course.rnHe is survived by three sons,rnBo Honsinger and his wife Cinda of Konawa, Robert B. Honsinger and his wife Cherry of Konawa and Stanley "Bush" Honsinger and his wife Shannon of Sasakwa; two sisters, Zelma McCraw of Konawa and Rita Graham of Calhoun, IL; seven grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.rnHe was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Lehman and Thelma Pearl (Hunt) Lehman.rnServing as pallbearers will be Bruce McCraw, Kelly Neely, Duane Brock, Clint Hanks, Stephen Palmer and Denver Palmer. Honorary bearers will be Tony Wolf. T.J. Wolf, Kenny Bennet, Chris Honsinger, Corey Fixico, Travis Honsinger and Ray Trapp. rnArrangements are being handled by Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, 217 N. Broadway, Konawa. Funeral service will be at Vamoosa Baptist Church on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. with Kevin Duck, officiating. Interment will be at Vamoosa Cemetery in Konawa, Okla.
