Robert Quincy ”Bobby” Cooper, 49, Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Bobby was born March 12, 1969 in Ada, Oklahoma to his parents Thomas Cooper and Alice Ruth (Snodgrass) Cooper. Bobby passed away at Shawnee Care Center. Bobby worked for several years at Homeland grocery store in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He also worked in the workshop at Faith Seven in Shawnee and TS& H Advertising Specialties in Seminole as a printing technician. Bobby loved bowling, watching WWE wrestling, leading singing and other duties at his church, the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma and loved spending time with his family. Bobby leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Alice Ruth Cooper of Seminole, Oklahoma, his two sisters; Nita Sneed and her husband Larry and Lorrie Bailey and her husband Tom both of Seminole, Oklahoma, his aunts and uncles; Donna and Jimmy Newell, Jenean Cooper, Susie Snodgrass and Red Barnes and numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other family members and many friends who will miss him dearly. Bobby was preceded in death by his father Thomas "Terrapin" Cooper, his sister Sherri Johnson and his brother Thomas Cooper, Jr. A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Terry Newell officiating. Bobby will be laid to rest at Avoca Cemetery in southern Pottawatomie County with no formal graveside service. Casket bearers will be Darin Johnson, Landon Glass, Rhiason Glass, Tom Bailey, Matt Bryant and Jake Rudd.
