Ricky Wayne Lowry

Ricky Wayne Lowry, age 66 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Rev. Mike Cox will officiate, and burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery.  The family will greet guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29th . Ricky was born April 22, 1952 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Rex Wortham Lowry and Wanda Dean (Gaines) Lowry.  He proudly served in the U. S. Navy, and he was a self-employed welder.  He married Jamie Morris in 1973.  Ricky loved to read western novels and to ride his horse. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lowry of Konawa; one son, Heath Lowry and wife, Rachele of Asher, Oklahoma; two daughters, Paige Stover and hubsand, Donnie of Konawa, and Lilah Carpitcher and husband, Stanley of Castle, Oklahoma; one sister, Debbie Jackson and husband, Danny of Oklahoma City; one brother, Ronnie Lowry of Konawa; one sister-in-law, Kathy Lowry of Konawa; and four grandchildren, Raegan Lowry, Hayden Lowry, Sami Stover, and Buddy Stover; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his girlfriend, Lisa Mullins. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie; one son, Jacob; his father, Rex Lowry; one brother, Tim Lowry; three grandchildren, Jaycob, Kyleigh, and Noah; and grandparents, Raymond D. and Leona Lowry, and Edward and Essie Gaines.
