"Rick" Richard Thomas Langston

“Rick” Richard Thomas Langston, Jr., age 49 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 21, 2018. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa.  Jeff Phillips and Jim Kelly will officiate. Rick was born May 15, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to Richard Thomas Langston, Sr. and Sandra Kay (Green) Langston.  He graduated from Munford High School in Tennessee, and attended Dyersburg State College and the University of Memphis.  He worked as a Ramp Agent for Fed-Ex Shipping, and he was a member of the Church of Christ of Asher.  Rick loved baseball, and he loved to read. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sandra Langston, Sr. of the home; one son, Aerik Langston, of Gatesville, Texas; two daughters, Percaya Langston and Kali Langston, both of Gatesville, Texas; and one sister, Kimberly Langston of Daphne, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to the Covington Church of Christ located at 1690 Hwy. 51 S. Covington, TN 38019.
