Rick Haworth

Ricky Nathanial “Rick” Haworth, 62 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Logan County, Oklahoma.  He was born July 5, 1954 in Cushing, Oklahoma to parents Milton Nathanial Haworth and Grace Elizabeth (Stockham) Haworth. Rick graduated from Seminole High School and was currently working as production foreman at Keaner Oil Company. On April 28, 1972 Rick married Patsy Jean Wheat in Gainesville, Texas. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Patsy Jean (Wheat) Haworth of the home; 2 daughters, Chrystal Ranells and her husband Tragg of Seminole, Oklahoma, Brandy Tisdale and her husband Brad of Tushka, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, David Haworth of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jeff Haworth of Seminole, Oklahoma; one sister, Sharon Morris and her husband C.R. Morris of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Logan Seeley and his wife Makayla of Seminole, Oklahoma, Dalton Ranells of Seminole, Oklahoma, Carson Ranells of Seminole, Oklahoma, Brayden Tisdale of Tushka, Oklahoma, Brock Tisdale of Tushka, Oklahoma; 1 great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Seeley of Seminole, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Grace Haworth, 2 brothers, Eddie Haworth, Teddy “Ted” Haworth, and one sister, Janet Streets. The family will receive friends Monday, April 17, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole on Hwy. 99 Casket Bearers will be: Tragg Ranells, Brad Tisdale, Logan Seeley, Roger Morris, Dalton Ranells and Brock Tisdale. Honorary Bearers will be: Randy Allen and Dean James. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
