Richard E. Ortley

Richard E. Ortley, Seminole resident, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Richard was born on December 13, 1950, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey to Lester H. and Doris M. (Erler) Ortley.

Richard married Gwen Shankles on July 27, 1995 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing drums.

Richard is survived by four daughters, Kristen Ortley Squires, Karen Ortley Kuhlman, Kelly Ortley Andrews and Kimberly Ortley; brother, Stephen L. Ortley and wife, Beate; nine grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and step-son, Trey Roberts.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Seminole First Assembly of God Church in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Doyle Long and David Long officiating.
