Richard Dean Melton

Richard Dean Melton, 71, lifelong Seminole resident died Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Richard was born October 2, 1942 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Frances A. (Northcott) and Robert A. Melton. Richard was a gospel minister and had also worked at the Seminole Schools in maintenance. Richard was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Seminole High School and attended two years of college. He also served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965 and attained the rank of SP4. Richard is survived by his five children Rob Melton, Terry Melton, Misty Melton, Amy Casuey and Christy Earhart all of California, her grandchildren Melissa, Caleb and Laura McCutcheon, Haley and Steven Hendryx Private family memorial services will be held at a later date at Little Cemetery.
