Longtime Seminole County resident Richard Wayne "Truckdriver" Flowers passed away on September 1, 2007 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 59. rnrnHe was born on May 9, 1948 in Fletcher, Oklahoma to Clinton Odell and Ruth (Maguire) Flowers. rnrnHe married Mary Ann (Roth) Flowers on June 17, 1978 in Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnHe was a self-employed truck driver for 48 years for R.W. Flowers Trucking. He was a member of the Seminole Elks Lodge and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 - 1968.rnrnHe is survived by his wife Mary Ann Flowers of the home, father, Clinton "C.O." Flowers of Shawnee, Oklahoma, one son, Clinton Wayne Flowers of Oklahoma, two brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael and Marinda Flowers of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Russell and BJ of Coppell, Texas, one sister and brother-in-law: Vicki and Larry Hope of Mont Belvieu, Texas. He is also survived by two grandchildren: Taylor and Trysten Flowers of Moore, Oklahoma and a host of other family and friends.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Flowers, July 3, 1999.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Rev.
