Richard W. Cole, 56, Seminole resident died Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Richard was born October 1, 1957 in Seminole to Hattie Mae (Coker) and Charles William Cole. Richard was born and raised in the Pleasant Grove Community west of Seminole. He graduated from Pleasant Grove and received his associate’s degree. He was a member of the First Indian Presbyterian Church of Wewoka, Oklahoma. Richard is survived by two sons, Chad Cole of Konawa, Oklahoma and Chase Cole of Norman, Oklahoma, three daughters Ashley Cole of Moore, Oklahoma, Lainey Cole of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Casey Cole of Seminole Oklahoma. Two brothers Gary Cole of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ronnie Cole of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sisters Ella Colman of Seminole and Beverly Manley of McLoud, Oklahoma and one grandson, Austin Red Satepauhoodle. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the HattieCokerColeFamilyCemetery, West of Seminole. Rev. Kelly Tiger, Jr. and Rev. J.C. Simpson will officiate at the service. Wake services will be held, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pall Bearers will be Terrance Manley, Frank Sewell, Austin Satepauhoodle, Curtis Smith, Troy “Butch” Yargee, and Robert Fixico.
