Richard ?Dick? Tolbert Chase, age 83 of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at his residence.rnrnMemorial services are to be announced at a later date. Broadway, Konawa, Oklahoma.rnrnRichard was born on October 6, 1925, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Virgil Randolph Chase and Hattie Ethel (Blackburn) Chase. He married Barbara Berry at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole on November 9, 1951. He was a prison farm supervisor, and he was also an agriculture teacher and a wrestling coach. He was a Mason, a member of the Quarter Horse Association, and a member of the American Legion.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Barbara Chase of the home; one brother, Jim Chase of Norman, Oklahoma; and one sister, Norma Jean.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Hattie Chase.rn Funeral Information: March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM
