Rhonda Jean Overbey

Rhonda Jean Overbey, age 51 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.  Casket bearers are Nathan Brown, Jason Loving, Noah Overbey, Benjamin Overbey, Mathew Overbey, William Barneck, Elrick Little, and Mickey Knight. Rhonda was born October 11, 1964 in Germany to Ronald Gene Overbey and Dorothy (Hendricks) Overbey.  She graduated from Strother High School and worked in the fast food industry and as a Nurse’s Aide. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Overbey of Seminole; one son, Nathan Brown of Seminole; one brother Dennis Overbey of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Chrystal Lyle and husband, Casey of Seminole, and Ramona Barneck and husband, William of Seminole; nephews and nieces, Jason Loving, Kelsey Loving, Sydney Loving, Abigail Barneck, Julianna Barneck, Meagan Barneck, Elijah Barneck, Alexxander Walker, Mathew Overbey, Benjamin Overbey, Noah Overbey, Lily Overbey, and Misty Spears.
