Rev. Redmond D. Wolf, Sr., 94 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 3, 1924 in Sylvia, Oklahoma (near Seminole) to parents Solomon Wolf and Pauline (McCully) Bruner-Wolf. Redmond attended Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma before joining the United States Army. While serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, Redmond earned the rank of 2nd Corporal, the World War II Victory Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the “EAME” European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon and one Bronze Service Star. Redmond married Kizzie Tiger on March 7, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. As a younger man Redmond enjoyed boxing and running. He served the Lord as a Minister for over 50 years. Redmond pastored at Little River Full Gospel Mission Church until his retirement. Survivors include 4 sons, Roger Jim Wolf and his wife Emma of California, Curtis Gene Wolf and his wife Jeannie of Seminole, Oklahoma, Redmond Wolf Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, Johnathan David Wolf and his wife Anita of Seminole, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Charlotte Ann Bruder and her husband Chadd of Seminole, Oklahoma, Misselda Pauline Wolf and Jeff Yahola of Wewoka, Oklahoma; 31 grandchildren; Several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Redmond was preceded in death by his parents Solomon Wolf and Pauline (McCully) Bruner-Wolf; by his wife of 45 years, Kizzie (Tiger) Wolf; by one son, Eric Wayne Wolf; by two daughters, Marjoie Claudia Wolf Howard and Karen Sue Harrison Wolf; by four brothers, Alec Miller, Ben Tiger, Delmar Wolf and Jack Wolf; by one sister, Beatrice Harjo; by one grandson, Donald Scott Grisso and by one great-granddaughter, Deidre Harrison. Wake services will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Curliss, Pastor Persian Yeagho and Pastor Robert Lay officiating the service. Interment will follow at the Wolf Family Cemetery with the Seminole Nation Honor Guard providing Military Honors. Casket Bearers will be: Larry Wolf, Jeffery Harjo, Josey Miller, Jeffery Tiger, Terri Wise and Wayne Peabworth. Honorary Bearers will be, Mekko Wolf and George Mooney.
