Rebekah Jane Burgess, longtime Konawa resident, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007 near Goldsby, Oklahoma at the age of 21.rnrnRebekah was born April 3, 1986 in Stillwater, Okla. to Danny & Alice J. (Walker) Burgess.rnrnShe graduated from Konawa High School in 2004.rnrnShe worked as a customer service representative at Interactive ResponsernTechnologies in Ada.rnrnRebekah enjoyed singing, telling jokes and spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughter, Adeline Elizabeth.rnrnShe is survived by her mother, Alice (Walker) Burgess of Konawa; rndaughter, Adeline Elizabeth of the home; rnmaternal grandparents, Jesse & Betty Walker of Konawa; paternal grandmother, Mary Brown of Wewoka; rnfour brothers, Bill Dooley of Brunswick, GA, Patrick Dooley of Ft. Worth, TX, Daniel Burgess of Norman, OK and Jonathan Burgess of Apache, OK and a host of other family and friends.rnShe was preceded in death by her father, Danny Burgess.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa with Pastor Pam Shirk officating. rnServing as casket bearers will be Lawrence Walker, Bill Dooley, Patrick Dooley, Daniel Burgess, Jonathan Burgess and Adam Palmer. rn rnInterment will be at Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Sasakwa, Okla.rnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
