Rebecca Linn Bowling-Roberts

Rebecca Linn (Bowling) Roberts, 62 year old former Seminole, Oklahoma resident and current Norman, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Norman Regional Healthplex following a lengthy illness.  She was born December 20, 1956 in Bristow, Oklahoma to parents, Wyattman Ray “Buster” Bowling and Tillums LaJoy “Tilley” (Yancey) Bowling. Rebecca graduated from Seminole High School and went on to further her education at Seminole State College.  She worked as a Bed and Breakfast Inn keeper in Norman, Oklahoma. On December 28, 2008 Rebecca married Mike “Pappy” Roberts in Norman, Oklahoma. Rebecca enjoyed going on lake trips, camping and boating.  She also loved to be with her family, making crafts and cooking.  Most of all she loved to spoil her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Mike “Pappy” Roberts of the home; three sons, Jesse Williams and his wife Nicole of Norman, Oklahoma, Kyle Williams and his wife Rhonda of Norman, Oklahoma, Steven Roberts and his wife Becky of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter, Pamela “P.J.” Meek and her husband Aaron of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers, Clyde Bowling and his wife Linda of Yukon, Oklahoma, Tom Bowling of Seminole, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Gavin, Hannah, Milley, Riley, Sutton, Annie and Gus; and by a host of other family and friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Tilley Bowling. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Daniel Kitchel officiating the service.
