Raymond J. Savage Sr., 69 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed from this life on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. He was born May 22, 1948 in Moline, Illinois to parents George P. Savage and Patricia M. (Lewis) Savage. Raymond was a retired truck driver who also made a run for the Seminole County Commissioner seat. Raymond was a loving father who felt that we all have a purpose in this life, when we go to the other side there will be love waiting for us. Raymond asked that when you think of him, you think of him as a friend. Please no tears, to live life like normal, and be happy. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Savage, Jr.and his wife Elizabeth of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Joseph Savage of Seminole, Oklahoma; one daughter, Patricia Savage of California; one step-daughter, Gloria Marvin of Ada, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by his father, George P. Savage, by his mother, Patricia Savage who died June 4, 2007, by his first wife, Jolene R. Savage, and by his second wife, Dee Ann Savage who died August 17, 2014. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
