Ranells, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Purcell Memorial Hospital.rnrnServices are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7th, at the First Baptist Church of Asher, Oklahoma, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, OK. Rev. Dewayne Johnson, Rev. Cecil Spoonemore, and Rev. Gary Caldwell will officiate. Burial will follow at Vista Cemetery of Asher. Pallbearers are Bo Ranells, Mart Armstrong, James Roe, Timothy Larman, Thomas Larman, and Robert Farmer. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry Neely, Billy Ranells, James Tomlinson, and Bob Riggle.rnrnRaymon was born on December 11, 1929, to Fred Ranells and Allie (Baucom) Ranells in Francis, OK. He married Eunice Wilson on June 30, 1951, in Asher, OK. He worked as a Lineman for Candian Valley Electric Coop for thirty-seven years. Raymon lived most of his live in Asher, and he was a Deacon for the First Baptist Church in Asher. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.rnrnHe is survived by one son, R. Terry Ranells of Asher, Oklahoma; one daughter, Teresa and husband, Tom Larman of Asher, Oklahoma; one sister, Gerlene Fonfara of Seattle, Washington;rnsix grandchildren, Tonya Armstrong, Bo Ranells, Sherry Roe, Tammy Farmer, Timothy Larman, and Thomas Larman; and 16 great grandchildren.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Allie Ranells, his wife, Eunice (Wilson) Ranells, four brothers, and one sister.
