Randy Lynn Robertson

Randy Lynn Robertson, 64, longtime Seminole resident, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Randy was born July 29, 1950 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Gladys (Saxon) and J. E. Robertson. Randy was retired from the Seminole oilfields where he worked for B.J. Hughes as a Fracking Technician and a cementer. He served in the United States Army and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Randy married Marilyn Coots on June 27, 1972 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Randy is survived by his wife Marilyn (Coots) Robertson of the home, one son Dennis Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma and a daughter Julie Robertson of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, two brothers Don Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Jim Robertson of Hugo, Oklahoma, five sisters Carol Palmer of Seminole, Oklahoma, Barbara Bible of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Joyce Jones of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, Brenda Moody of Bowlegs, Oklahoma Glenda Kelsey, of Amber, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, McKinley Jones and Braxton Patton. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Wolf Cemetery south of Seminole, with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. Casket bearers will be David Bruce, Tonya Hohn, Earl Smith, McKinley Jones, John Knight and D. J. Ridge. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
