Ralph Earnest Lindquist

Ralph Earnest Lindquist, 87, longtime Seminole resident, died Friday, June 26, 2015 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Ralph was born October 26, 1927 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Lena (Sandersfield) and Klaus Lindquist. Ralph came to Seminole 48 years ago from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ralph worked for National Tank Company in Oklahoma City, for many years. He then worked for C.E. Natco as a branch manager located in Seminole. His territory was Oklahoma and Arkansas.   After his retirement, he started his own business known as Lindquist Oilfield Equipment Sales and Service. Ralph was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, playing Wahoo and Rook, mowing his lawn, he loved being with his family and also loved his two Boston terriers, Bubba and Sissy. Ralph served his country as a Private First Class in the U. S. Army. Ralph is survived by his two sons: Jim Roberts and his wife Dee of Moore, Oklahoma, Tom Roberts and Cathy Roberts of Norman, Oklahoma, by his grandchildren Kelly Darrow and her husband Robert, Tracie Williams and her husband Mark, Jodie McClary and her husband Dallas and Jason Roberts, nine great-grandchildren; Logan, Amber, Tyler, Emily, Rebecca, Joshua, Daniel, Rylie and Kate. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Lou Lindquist in 2001, and his two brothers, Hugo Lindquist and Harold Lindquist. Funeral services are planned for 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  Bob Merrill will officiate the services. Casket bearers will be Mark Williams, Dallas McClary, Robert Darrow, Logan Darrow, Tyler Darrow and Scott Taylor. The family will receive friends and family at a special visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
