Rachel Ann Wingfield Rachel Ann Wingfield, 34, Shawnee resident, died Friday, September 2, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rachel was born June 14, 1977 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Rachel grew up in the Wetumka, Oklahoma area and attended school there and graduated from Wetumka High School in 1995. Following high school she attended West Watkins Vo-Tech in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She became an L.P.N. and was a nurse at Stepping Stones Mental Health in Boley, Oklahoma for 8 years.  Rachel was a member of the East Main Church of Christ in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Rachel was a very loving, caring and nurturing mother and person. The family remembers her as a very smart, talented, beautiful lady. She was an outdoor girl. She loved to spend her time helping Jim remodel their house by hanging sheetrock, laying tile and had a knack for making everything she touched, beautiful whether it was craft making or working on her house. She had beautiful flowerbeds at her home. She very much liked to brush hog at her place to relax, but her passion was her husband and her boys, whom she devoted her life to. She always was there to watch the boy’s play ball. Her family was her life and was close to all of them. She married Jim Wingfield on January 1, 2009 in Arkansas. Rachel is survived by her husband Jim Wingfield of Shawnee, Oklahoma, sons; Austin Walker, Hayden Walker, John Wingfield and James “ Odie” Wingfield all of Shawnee, Oklahoma and a daughter Kacy Wingfield of Shawnee. Her mother and father Janet and Papa Chuck Perry of Holdenville, Oklahoma. Her brother and sister-in-law Scott and Dawn Bray of Wetumka, Oklahoma and twin sister and brother-in-law Rebecca and Sean Kramer of Wetumka, Oklahoma and step-brother Chuck Perry of Ardmore, Oklahoma and six nephews also survive her. Funeral services are planned for 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the East Main Church of Christ at 501 E. Main in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Alan Eck and Clint Dawkins will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at the family cemetery near Wetumka, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Sean Kramer, Austin Walker, Jim Wingfield, John Wingfield, Scott Bray and Jeffrey Bray. Honorary bearers will be her uncles; Randall Richmond, Larry Richmond, John Heath and David Parker. Swearingen Funeral home in Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of services.
