Qualla H. Addington

December 17, 1937 — March 15, 2014

Qualla J. Addington, age 76 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was past president of the Suburban Women’s Club in Lexington and a member of Middletown Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Kate Higdon; her first husband Loren Cotton, Jr.; her brother, George Higdon; and her sister Pat Padgett. Qualla is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bob; sons, Brent Cotton (Luneita) and Mike Cotton (Valerie); grandchildren, Blake, Troy and Kyle Cotton; sister-in-law Jennie Higdon; brother-in-law Charles Padgett; also several nieces, nephews and host of relatives and friends. Funeral ceremony was 11am Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Middletown Christian Church, 500 N. Watterson Trail. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, OK at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014. Visitation will be at Swearingen Funeral Home, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Middletown Christian Church.
