Phyllis Jean (Collinsworth) Phillips, age 62 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Ed George will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mark Payne, Mitchell Payne, Monty Payne, Gary Elliott, Jerrod Collinsworth, and Matt Abel. Honorary Pallbearers are Zack Collinsworth, Erik Todd, and Sonny Collinsworth. Jean was born on May 26, 1952 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jerry Collinsworth and Johnnie (Tollett) Collinsworth. She graduated from Sasakwa High School and married Terry Phillips May 8, 1976 in Byng, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, baking cookies, making candy, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Terry Phillips of the home; two sons, Jeremy Phillips and wife, Kristy of Sasakwa, and Josh Phillips also of Sasakwa; one brother, Brad Collinsworth and wife, Brenda of Sasakwa; three sisters, Sharlene Phillips and husband, Bobby of Seminole, Linda Payne and husband, Kenneth of Konawa, and Carlotta Travels of Sasakwa; and five grandchildren, Colton Phillips, Jonathan Dominic, Alexis Dominic, Hayden Phillips, and Waylon Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Johnnie Collinsworth; one brother, Leon Collinsworth; and one sister, Shirley Collinsworth.
