Phyllis Nicholson

Phyllis Ann Nicholson, 62, longtime Seminole resident died, Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born June 18, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Vernon Lloyd and Florence Edna (Thompson) Perry. Phyllis graduated from Seminole High School in 1969 and married Lowell Thomas “Tommy “Nicholson on October 3, 1970 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Phyllis worked for many years at Nichols Bestyet Grocery and also for Century 21. She is survived by her husband Tommy Nicholson of Seminole, Oklahoma; one son Jonathan Thomas Nicholson and his wife Laura serving in the U.S. Air Force, one daughter Jennifer La Dawn Towler and her husband Tommy G. Towler of Norman, Oklahoma; one brother, Loyd E. Perry and his wife Doris of Pink, Oklahoma, and a brother -in- law, John W. Nicholson Jr. and his wife Glenda of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Crain and her husband Gary of Prague, Oklahoma and Jeanette Humphrey and husband Dwayne Thomas of Ft. Worth, Texas; four grandchildren Damian Thomas Nicholson, Brandon James Nicholson, Dustin Levi Nicholson and Tristan Grant Towler. She was preceded in death by one son Travis Dean Nicholson and her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Chris Lee Officiating assisted by Heath Sapp. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jerry Bray, Justin Bray, Bobbie Bray and Jonathan Nicholson. Funeral Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
